Devghat is one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites, at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and Trishuli rivers, which together form the Narayani River. It sits at the tri-junction of Tanahun, Chitwan and Nawalparasi districts, with its central nucleus in Tanahun, and draws pilgrims for ritual bathing, especially on Makar Sankranti.
