Who we are
Himalayan Social Journey (HSJ Travel) is a licensed Nepal tour operator with a team in Singapore. For 18 years we have guided travellers to Everest and Annapurna Base Camp, and on cultural journeys through Bhutan, Tibet and India. Our own guides lead every trip, in small groups of up to 12 or privately, and every booking supports community projects in Nepal.

Every journey should leave the mountains, and the people who call them home, better than we found them.
We started Himalayan Social Journey to bring travellers from Singapore to the Himalayas the way the people who live there know them. Our team in Singapore plans every trip with you, and our own guides in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and India lead it on the ground.

Himalayan Community Project is a registered non-profit organisation in Nepal, running education, healthcare and environmental programmes across remote districts including Dhading and Gorkha. It is staffed almost entirely by people from the villages it serves, with full financial transparency published every quarter.
