Nepal's third international airport, opened January 2023
Pokhara International Airport opened on 1 January 2023 as Nepal's third international airport, replacing the older domestic airstrip in the city. It handles the short Kathmandu-Pokhara hop as well as international charter flights, and is the usual arrival and departure point for Annapurna region treks.
