Attraction
Davis Falls
Pokhara's waterfall that disappears underground
Davis Falls, locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), is a unique waterfall in Pokhara where the Phusre Khola stream plunges dramatically into a deep underground cave tunnel and disappears entirely. The falls are most spectacular during and just after the monsoon season when the volume of water crashing into the subterranean gorge is at its peak.Directly across the road, the Gupteshwor Cave system explores the underground river passage where Davis Falls re-emerges, offering a fascinating paired natural attraction just south of Lakeside Pokhara.
