Api Nampa Conservation Area

Api Nampa Conservation Area protects the wilderness surrounding Api (7,132m) and Nampa (6,755m) peaks in Bajhang District, one of the most remote corners of the Nepal Himalaya. The conservation area encompasses diverse ecosystems from subtropical forests at lower elevations to permanent glaciers and high-altitude alpine zones.Extremely few trekkers reach this region, making it one of Nepal's ultimate wilderness frontiers. The Limi Valley, traditional Tibetan-influenced villages, and the spectacular approach to the Api Base Camp offer experiences of pristine Himalayan wilderness and living culture almost entirely free of tourist infrastructure.
