Adventure hub at the confluence of three rivers
Beni is the headquarters of Baglung District, located at the dramatic confluence of the Myagdi and Kali Gandaki rivers. The town serves as a key gateway and transport hub for trekkers heading to the Annapurna Circuit, Dhaulagiri treks, and white-water rafting expeditions on the Kali Gandaki.The Kali Gandaki is famous for containing ammonite fossils (shaligrams), which wash down from the high Mustang plateau and are considered sacred by Hindus.
