Tamang Heritage Trail

The Tamang Heritage Trail is a cultural trekking route in Rasuwa District that winds through traditional Tamang villages in the foothills south of the Langtang Valley. The trail offers an immersive experience of Tamang culture, with ancient stone-built villages, monasteries, prayer flags, and mani walls at every turn.Less crowded than the main Langtang trek, the heritage trail provides an authentic insight into the daily lives, customs, and Buddhist traditions of one of Nepal's most distinctive indigenous communities.
