View all 3 photos
Night Safari is a nocturnal wildlife park on Mandai Lake Road in Mandai, northern Singapore, which opened on 26 May 1994 next to Singapore Zoo. Its operator, Mandai Wildlife Group, describes it as the world's first nocturnal wildlife park, and it keeps more than 900 animals, including free-roaming Malayan tapirs, in forest habitats designed for animals that are active at night.
Gates open daily from 6pm to midnight, with last entry at 11.15pm, and guests pick an entry time slot when booking. The tram and walking trails start at 7pm. Most visitors ride the Safari Adventure Tram first, which loops through the zones with English audio commentary, then explore on foot along the four walking trails: Tasmanian Devil Trail, Pangolin Trail, Leopard Trail and East Lodge Trail. A guided buggy tour, the Safari Adventure Tour, is offered as a separate option.
Night Safari uses the Mandai Wildlife EAST entrance at 80 Mandai Lake Road, shared with Singapore Zoo and River Wonders, so a daytime visit to the zoo or River Wonders can run straight into the evening. The M2 Mandai Khatib bus runs from Khatib MRT station and takes about 20 minutes.
