Resunga Hill is a forested sacred hill in Gulmi District, crowned with the Resunga Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The hill is a local pilgrimage destination surrounded by dense subtropical forest and associated in Hindu mythology with the sage Resunga, who is said to have meditated here.The climb through the forested hill offers pleasant nature walks, encounters with medicinal plants and wildlife, and sweeping views from the temple summit over the terraced Gulmi valleys and towards the distant Dhaulagiri range.
