Kusum Kanguru
A triple-summited peak near Lukla, its name meaning Three Snow-White Gods in Sherpa.
Kusum Kanguru stands at 6,367m in the lower Khumbu region near Lukla, the airstrip town most Everest region treks start and end from. Its name means "Three Snow-White Gods" in the Sherpa language, referring to its triple summit.
It is one of the first high snow peaks visible to trekkers walking in on the older Jiri approach route, before the main cluster of Khumbu giants comes into view.
