Attraction
Dhaulagiri Circuit
Remote trek around the world's seventh-highest peak
The Dhaulagiri Circuit is one of Nepal's most challenging and remote trekking routes, circumnavigating Dhaulagiri I (8,167m) — the world's seventh-highest mountain. The route crosses the French Col and Dhampus Pass at over 5,000 metres and passes through the dramatic Dhaulagiri Icefall and the remote Hidden Valley. With its extreme altitude, technical terrain, and very limited infrastructure, the Dhaulagiri Circuit demands experienced trekkers with strong high-altitude skills. The reward is an extraordinary wilderness experience with close encounters with a Himalayan giant in total solitude.
