Teahouse settlement at 2,920m between Dovan and Deurali
Himalaya is a small teahouse settlement at about 2,920 metres on the trail between Dovan and Deurali, deep in the Modi Khola gorge. The bamboo forest thins noticeably around this point as the trail climbs toward Deurali and the Hinku Cave, a former shepherds' shelter beside the path.
