Bamboo
Dense bamboo and rhododendron forest camp at 2,310m in the Modi Khola gorge
Bamboo (2,310m) takes its name from the dense stands of bamboo and rhododendron forest surrounding it in the steep-sided Modi Khola gorge -- one of the lusher, more sheltered stops on the way up to the Annapurna Sanctuary, popular with grazing langur monkeys.
