Bukit Batok Nature Park is a 36-hectare park in Bukit Batok, western Singapore, developed in 1988 on the site of an abandoned quarry. Its best-known view is the flooded quarry itself, with a sheer rock face above still water, seen from the plaza beyond the playground. On Bukit Batok Hill, off Lorong Sesuai, a flight of steps once led to the Syonan Chureito, a 12-metre Japanese war memorial unveiled on 10 September 1942 and built with the labour of Allied prisoners of war, who were allowed to raise a smaller memorial cross behind it. Both were removed after the Japanese surrender; the steps remain, with a television transmission tower on the site and an NParks Second World War memorial plaque along Lorong Sesuai.

NParks lists 3.87 km of trails, rated easy to moderate, taking one to two hours, with stairs and steep slopes. As of 15 October 2026, NParks shows the park's trails as closed for maintenance works, without a reopening date, so check the NParks page before going. The park itself is open 24 hours, with access from Bukit Batok East Avenue 2 and Bukit Batok East Avenue 6, and the nearest MRT stations are Bukit Batok, Beauty World and Hillview.

When the trails reopen, their stairs and steep slopes give a short, useful stair session for anyone building leg strength before a Himalayan trek.
