The Api Nampa Conservation Area covers 1,903 square kilometres of Darchula district, with elevations ranging from 539m to 7,132m at the summit of Api Himal. It spans subtropical forest, temperate and alpine zones, and is the starting point for treks toward Api Base Camp.
