Ugratara Temple

Ugratara Temple is a revered Hindu temple in Dadeldhura District in far western Nepal, dedicated to the fierce goddess Ugratara — a form of the divine feminine associated with power and protection. The temple is an important pilgrimage site for the communities of the far western Sudurpashchim Province.The setting of the temple in the Dadeldhura highlands, surrounded by mid-hill forests and traditional western Nepal village landscapes, adds to its appeal as both a religious and scenic destination in one of Nepal's least-visited regions.
