Mangalsen

Mangalsen is the administrative headquarters of Achham District in Nepal's Sudurpashchim Province, a mid-hill town surrounded by the traditional communities and terraced landscapes of the far western hills. The town is the main centre of commerce, education, and governance for the people of Achham.The Ramaroshan Lakes nearby are an important religious and natural attraction, and the district's traditional communities preserve aspects of far western Nepal's culture that are increasingly rare in more developed parts of the country.
