Khalanga Jajarkot

Khalanga is the administrative headquarters of Jajarkot District, perched in the mountains above the Bheri River valley in western Nepal. The town is surrounded by dramatic hill landscapes, terraced fields, and traditional communities of the western Pahad region.Jajarkot District suffered greatly in the 2023 earthquake, and Khalanga serves as the base for recovery efforts and exploration of the district's natural and cultural heritage, including access to highland trekking and the scenic Bheri River corridor.
