Singapore · The Grand Journey Through Bhutan
Our Bhutan holiday was peaceful, scenic and surprisingly varied. Having nine days gave us plenty of time to enjoy the different valleys and see traditional architecture, monasteries and dzongs along the way. The mountain scenery was beautiful throughout, especially on the quieter road sections. The itinerary had a comfortable pace with enough time to rest between activities. Everything from airport pickup to the final transfer was well coordinated. Himalayan Social Journey made it a wonderful holiday and one we will look back on fondly.

Nine days gave us enough time to properly enjoy Bhutan and experience more than the main tourist highlights. The scenery was amazing from the moment we left Paro, and many mountain drives became favourite moments. Tiger’s Nest was the biggest physical challenge but also one of the most rewarding days. Renchay Wangmo was very helpful throughout the journey and kept the arrangements clear. We appreciated having enough time to rest between activities. It was a memorable experience with HSJ Travel.

We wanted a trip combining nature and culture, and Bhutan fitted perfectly. The longer itinerary meant we could explore without constantly watching the clock. Phobjikha was one of our favourite destinations because of its beautiful landscape and peaceful atmosphere. We also enjoyed the monasteries and dzongs and seeing how traditional architecture remains important. The team was responsive and the daily arrangements were easy to follow. Himalayan Social Journey gave us a very enjoyable balance of sightseeing and relaxation.

We really enjoyed the road journey through Bhutan’s valleys and mountain passes. The changing scenery made the drives an important part of the experience rather than just transportation. Punakha Dzong was one of the best sights and looked impressive against the surrounding landscape. Our guide explained the places clearly and gave us useful background. The nine-day schedule allowed us to enjoy the journey at a comfortable pace. HSJ Travel made it a very enjoyable way to discover Bhutan.

It was a peaceful holiday filled with beautiful scenery and cultural experiences. I especially liked having extra time in the smaller towns rather than rushing towards the next major attraction. The local architecture felt completely different from what we are used to seeing in Singapore, which made even simple walks interesting. The mountain landscapes were another highlight. The daily arrangements were handled professionally, and Himalayan Social Journey gave us a very refreshing break.

The nine-day trip was comfortable and well paced. Punakha and Phobjikha were my personal highlights, with both offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed the mountain road journeys because the views changed constantly. Tiger’s Nest was tiring, but reaching the monastery made it one of the most rewarding experiences. Having extra days meant we could rest properly between activities. I would definitely consider another Himalayan trip with HSJ Travel.

Bhutan surprised me because I expected the mountains and scenery to be the main focus. While the landscapes were beautiful, I enjoyed the cultural side just as much. The dzongs and monasteries were incredible, and it was interesting to learn about the traditions behind the places we visited. Nine days also gave us time to enjoy the towns and take photographs without constantly checking the schedule. Himalayan Social Journey made the journey easy to manage.

Nine days allowed us to see much more of Bhutan than a shorter trip. The countryside ended up being one of my favourite parts, especially the drive towards Phobjikha with its incredible mountain views. We also enjoyed the cultural sites and traditional architecture. The longer itinerary gave us time outside the main tourist centres and a better feel for quieter Bhutan. Everything was organised clearly and HSJ Travel made the trip easy to follow.

We travelled as a family and really enjoyed the slower rhythm of Bhutan compared with some of the busier holidays we have taken. Nine days meant everyone could enjoy the journey without rushing from one attraction to another. The traditional monasteries and dzongs were fascinating, while the mountain scenery made almost every drive enjoyable. The hotels and transport were comfortable, and we liked having opportunities to stop at smaller places. It was a wonderful family holiday with Himalayan Social Journey.

The nine-day itinerary gave us a really good introduction to Bhutan, including both major attractions and quieter places. We enjoyed the combination of cultural sites, mountain scenery and relaxed town visits. Tiger’s Nest was challenging, especially towards the higher sections, but reaching the monastery became one of our favourite memories. Paro was also a lovely place to finish. The extra days made a big difference, and Himalayan Social Journey made the overall trip comfortable.

Bhutan felt very different from travelling around Southeast Asia, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere from the beginning. The traditional architecture, monasteries and countryside gave the trip a completely different character. Phobjikha and Punakha were especially scenic. Some road journeys were long, but the stops and views made them enjoyable. The nine-day itinerary gave us enough time to explore without squeezing everything into a short schedule. HSJ Travel made it a refreshing change from our usual holidays.

We chose nine days because we wanted more time in the Bhutanese countryside rather than spending the whole holiday moving between major attractions. It was worth having the extra days, with quiet mornings, scenic drives and opportunities to explore cultural sites. Mr. Chencho John was friendly and helpful throughout the journey. The itinerary gave us a comfortable balance between sightseeing and free time. Himalayan Social Journey helped us experience Bhutan at a much more relaxed pace.
