Peranakan Museum is a museum of Peranakan culture at 39 Armenian Street in the Museum planning area, housed in the former Tao Nan School building, which was completed in March 1912. The building became the first home of the Asian Civilisations Museum in 1997, was redeveloped after that museum moved to Empress Place in 2003, and opened as the Peranakan Museum in 2008. The museum closed in April 2019 for a major renovation and reopened on 17 February 2023.

The reopened museum shows more than 800 objects across three floors, arranged around three themes that look at different sides of Peranakan identity: Origins, Home and Style. Together they trace where Peranakan communities came from, how their households lived, and the fashion, craft and design that grew out of them, so the museum suits anyone curious about the mixed heritage behind much of Singapore's food, dress and architecture. The museum opens daily from 10am to 7pm, and until 9pm on Fridays. Armenian Street places it within walking distance of the National Museum of Singapore and Fort Canning Park, so the three fit into a single afternoon in the Museum district, and City Hall and Bras Basah MRT stations are both within walking distance.
