Marina Bay Sands
Three hotel towers joined by a rooftop SkyPark some 200 metres above Marina Bay

Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort on the Bayfront side of Marina Bay, in Singapore's Downtown Core, designed by architect Moshe Safdie and completed in 2010. Its three hotel towers are joined at the top by the Sands SkyPark, a roof park of about one hectare set some 200 metres above the ground, with a public observation deck that Safdie Architects describes as the longest occupiable cantilevered structure in the world. The resort holds more than 2,600 hotel rooms, convention and exhibition halls, two theatres, a casino, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and the lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum on the waterfront promontory.
Most visitors come for the SkyPark Observation Deck, a ticketed open-air deck on Level 56 of Hotel Tower 3 with a 360-degree view over the bay and the city. The rooftop infinity pool on Level 57 is reserved for hotel guests, so for everyone else the view from the top comes from the deck or one of the rooftop restaurants and bars. At ground level the mall and the waterfront promenade are free to walk, and Spectra, a free 15-minute outdoor light and water show, plays over the bay from the Event Plaza in the evenings. Bayfront MRT station serves the complex. The deck is open-air and may close for a while during heavy rain or lightning, so check the official site before going.
