Dipayal (also called Dipayal-Silgadhi) is the administrative headquarters of Doti District in Nepal's Sudurpashchim Province, a town set along the Seti River in the mid-hills of the far west. The town is the main commercial and administrative centre of the Doti region.The surrounding Doti hills are associated with the ancient Doti Kingdom and preserve aspects of a distinctive local culture, and the town serves as a base for exploring the natural and heritage attractions of the far western hills including Khaptad National Park.
