FAQs
An early start rewards you with sunrise over the Himalaya from Nagarkot (2,195m), with Everest and Langtang Lirung on the horizon on clear mornings. After breakfast, you walk down through terraced farms, pine forest and the village of Sallaghari to Changunarayan (1,541m), one of the oldest temples in the Kathmandu Valley.
Most versions of this tour end there. Ours continues to Bhaktapur, a short drive away, for lunch and an afternoon in its Durbar Square before the drive back to your hotel.
