Everything you need to know.
Your journey begins and ends in Delhi, making it convenient to arrange international flights from Singapore to a single arrival and departure airport. Most international services arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
Allow sufficient time between your international flight and the start of the tour, particularly if you are arriving late at night or during periods of heavy traffic. Your airport transfer and hotel check-in will be arranged according to your confirmed arrival details.
For the return journey, allow adequate time for the drive from Rajasthan or Jaipur to Delhi and your international departure. Traffic around Delhi can be unpredictable, so an early airport transfer is recommended for international flights.
Singapore passport holders generally need an appropriate Indian visa or electronic visa before travelling to India for tourism. Travellers should apply through India's official visa system and check the latest eligibility, permitted entry points, passport validity and visa conditions before departure.
Your passport should have sufficient validity and blank pages for immigration formalities. Visa rules and entry requirements can change, so travellers should verify the latest requirements before booking flights.
This itinerary covers a significant area of northern India, with travel between Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and rural Rajasthan by private vehicle.
Some days involve several hours on the road. The Delhi–Agra, Agra–Jaipur and Rajasthan–Delhi journeys can be affected by traffic, road conditions, weather and local congestion. The published driving distances and times are therefore approximate.
The longer road journeys are balanced with sightseeing stops, heritage attractions and breaks along the way. Your driver and guide will manage the route and make reasonable adjustments when necessary.
Driving in India can be very different from travelling in Singapore. Urban roads can be busy, particularly in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, while rural roads may be slower and less predictable.
Traffic congestion, roadworks, local celebrations, livestock and weather conditions can occasionally increase journey times. Travellers should expect a more relaxed approach to road travel and avoid scheduling important onward flights immediately after a long overland journey.
Rajasthan can become particularly hot and dry during warmer months. Long sightseeing sessions in direct sunlight can be tiring even when the physical activity is relatively easy.
Carry water throughout the day and use sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Light, loose-fitting clothing is recommended. During very hot periods, your guide may adjust sightseeing times to avoid the strongest afternoon heat.
India operates on Indian Standard Time (IST), which is 2 hours and 30 minutes behind Singapore.
Travellers arriving from Singapore should take this time difference into account when planning flights, airport transfers, communications and personal schedules.
Our team replies within one working day from Singapore to confirm availability, answer questions and hold your place. Nothing is charged until you're ready to book.
